We're (Biboy, Atchie, Cherry and I) off to Cebu tomorrow for the Sinulog Festival. We'll only be there until Monday morning, then we'll hop on over to Bohol for some sun (hopefully) and surf.
This is the nth time I've gone to Cebu and Bohol, but it just never gets old for me. Here is my to do list for our lightning visit.
Cebu:
- eat tons of CnT lechon
- buy cassava cake from Postrio
- let Biboy take us to matias
- eat at Chika-an or Cafe Laguna at SM/Ayala
- have cakes and ice-cream at Dessert Factory and La Marea
- buy lace cookies from Don Merto's
- take Atchie and Cherry to Mooon Cafe
- hang out at BTC (I don't know why I love the place, but I do)
- buy Mama tons of danggit and dried things at the Tabo-an market
Bohol:
- take Atchie and Cherry through the pre-requisite Bohol tour (Chocolate Hills, tarsier, Baclayon church, river cruise, hanging bridge, man-made forest, blood compact site, etc)
- eat at the Prawn Farm in ICM (and this time order kilawin - kebs kay Biboy!)
- find Osang's Pastries and try the broas
- visit Handumanan in Dauis
- watch each sun rise every day that we are in Panglao
- watch each sunset too
- get a masaji by the beach
- have breakfast at Ooops bar
- book an island (Balicasag) and dolphin watching tour
- have cocktails at the Alona Palm Beach Resort's poolside bar
I hope the weather gods will be kind and bless us with blue unclouded skies while we are there.
